Individuals.

Individuals operating in fields that require elite performance output face pressures and challenges that require a specific toolset to consistently excel. Katie’s one-on-one approach focuses on understanding the individual’s goal or challenge and conducting a “deep dive” into the situation. Adopting a holistic approach over multiple coaching sessions, Katie partners with her clients, utilising proven strategies to accelerate the individual to their goal and beyond.

 Examples of individual goals/challenges include:

  • Executive level appointment

  • Leading high performing teams

  • Navigating career transitions

  • Peak performance eg. medical professionals - performance during surgery

  • Olympic selection/Olympic gold medal

  • Identifying and tackling barriers to individual performance

  • Enhancing innovation and learning

  • Resilience at individual, team and organisational level

  • Navigating environmental challenges beyond our control, eg. COVID19.

Teams.

Throughout her Olympic career Katie earned a reputation for her strong leadership and innate ability to bring individuals together to perform at exceptional levels. Katie believed that team success came down to what she called “team synergy”. For her rowing team to achieve its goals, she believed it was not simply about individuals performing at their best “together”. Instead, it was about combinations of adjusting, enhancing and complementing the team’s dynamics to consistently sustain peak performance.

Katie shares this skillset and understanding of “team synergy” to organisations across the world. Her high-performance team coaching focuses on building collective leadership and performance using a range of evidence-based practices that are tailored to the unique attributes of the team or organisation.

Examples of team goals/challenges include:

  • Moving beyond a team of high performing individuals to “team synergy”. What can be achieved together that can’t be achieved individually?

  • Creating a coaching culture and enabling the team to coach itself

  • Performance of cross-functional/project teams

  • Identifying and tackling barriers to team performance

  • Enhancing innovation and learning

  • Enhancing resilience and performance of teams and organisations

  • Building connections, trust and psychological safety

  • Enhancing the impact of senior leadership teams
